Has Siddhant Chaturvedi, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaya Bachchan signed up for Vikas Bahl’s film? Here’s what we know

For all those who were seeing the legendary Amitabh Bachchan in the ongoing Kaun Banega Crorepati and were wanting to see his equally stellar and legendary better half Jaya Bachchan back on the silver screen, here is the news you all have been waiting for. The news is that Jaya Bachchan is now all set to grace the silver screen yet again.

As per a source-based report in Peeping Moon, it has been said that, Vikas Bahl, who has to his credit of having made films like Queen and Super 30 is now back to helm the director’s chair with an ‘intense supernatural thriller and a futuristic sci-fi actioner’. Besides Jaya Bachchan, the said film will also see the presence of Siddhant Chaturvedi, Wamiqa Gabbi, who will be seen as the leading pair in the film.

The said report stated that the film’s premise has been set in around an old house that is transformed into a public gully, located in Goa and that, while Bhushan Kumar will be seen producing the film under his T-Series banner, this will also be marking his first association with Vikas Bahl. The same report mentioned that, both, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi will be paired opposite each other as the leading pair on screen, the veteran actress Jaya Bachchan will be seen playing Wamiqa's mother.

As for Siddhant Chaturvedi, he was recently seen in Ravi Udyawar’s Yudhra, wherein his performance was extremely appreciated by everyone. Besides this, he will also be seen in Dharma Productions’ Dhadak 2, which has the svelte Triptii Dimri as the leading lady. Speaking of Triptii Dimri, she will now be seen in the most awaited Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which will release tomorrow.

As for Wamiqa Gabbi, she will be seen in the Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John, which also will see the presence of Salman Khan. Besides that, she will be seen in for Raj and DK’s Rakht Brahmand, which happens to be a fantasy period series on Netflix.
