Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja shares actor's health update; says 'He is feeling much better'

Since yesterday, everyone has been extremely worried about Bollywood actor Govinda and his health. For the unversed, while he was on his way to an outdoor location for a shoot, a bullet got accidentally fired from the licensed gun from the cupboard.

Just as everyone was worried, Govinda’s wife (who was not in Mumbai at the time of the incident) rushed back to Mumbai to be with her husband. Speaking to ANI, Sunita Ahuja said that he (Govinda) was better and that they would admit him to the normal ward today.

She added that he (Govinda) was much better than yesterday and that he would be discharged the day after tomorrow. She also added that, with everyone's blessings, he has recovered and that he has a great fan following and so, people are praying for him. The actor’s wife went on to request the fans not to panic as he was fine.

On the other hand, Govinda’s nephew Krushna Abhishek posted a health update of Govinda on social media. He wrote, ‘Mama is feeling better now. Thank you all for your prayers and love. Wishing him a speedy recovery. God is kind. Pls let your prayers keep pouring in’.

Besides being an actor, Govinda is also a politician now with the Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena. Deepak Sawant, who happens to be the actor’s friend and former Maharashtra Legislative Council member, spoke to the media reporters yesterday who were anxious to know about the health update of the actor.

On his part, Deepak Sawant had said Govinda was recovering well and was likely to be discharged within the next 24 to 48 hours. He added that he had just met Govinda ji, and that he was delighted to report that he’s recovering well and that his operation was a success. He added that he was no longer in danger and that he would likely be discharged from the hospital within 24 to 48 hours.
