    Bollywood actor Govinda, who suffered a gunshot injury, has been discharged from Criticare Hospital in Mumbai. The actor was spotted by the paparazzi on Friday, outside the hospital with a cast on his leg. The Raja Babu actor was accompanied by his wife Sunita Ahuja.

    Govinda discharged from Mumbai hospital

    Earlier this week it was reported that actor Govinda accidentally shot himself with his gun. After the accident, the actor was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai and underwent treatment. His friends from the industry, including Shilpa Shetty, and Rajpal Yadav visited him at the hospital. Today (October 4), Govinda was discharged from the hospital after receiving necessary medical treatment.

    In a video shared by the paparazzi on social media, Govinda was spotted outside the hospital, sitting on a wheelchair, with a cast on his leg.

    Yesterday, Govinda’s wife Sunita interacted with the media and gave updates about his health. After informing that he is getting better, the actor's wife said that he will get discharged on Friday.

    She added, “I would like to thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. It is because of your good wishes that he got better quickly. I am so happy that we got the news of his discharge on the first day of Navaratri”.

    Govinda’s health updates

    After getting accidentally shot, Govinda reportedly underwent surgery at the hospital. His daughter Tina Ahuja told the media that the actor was moved to the normal ward and has been taking drips and antibiotics. She said, "Papa is getting better, God has been very kind. Please keep him in your prayers. He has been shifted from the ICU to the normal ward; everything is good now. He's healthy and happy. Please continue praying for him. He will be discharged very soon. He's been given drips and antibiotics, and we're hoping for a speedy discharge.”

    The actor featured in popular Bollywood films such as Raja Babu, Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, and Dulhe Raja, among others.
