On Thursday, actor Prasanna confirmed that he is part of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's much-anticipated film, Good Bad Ugly. Taking to social media, Prasanna shared his joy about being cast alongside Ajith and described it as a career milestone he had been waiting for.

"Dear friends and well-wishers, this time it's finally true that I'm part of our beloved Thala Ajith Kumar sir's film. It's a dream come true for me," wrote Prasanna. He reflected on the missed opportunities from previous Ajith films and the anticipation from fans who had long speculated about his involvement. "Since Mankatha, every time AK sir's films were announced, I was supposed to be a part of those. His fans kept speculating and wishing me, but as they say, 'there's many a slip between the cup and the lip.' Finally, the timing can't be any better, I'm part of Good Bad Ugly."

Prasanna praised Ajith, calling him "full of humility and so grounded" and expressed his excitement for being part of the project. "I've shot my first few days, and I can only tell one thing—he is loved so much for what he is, and he is exactly what you and I have always known about him," Prasanna added.

Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, appears to showcase Ajith embracing the darker, eccentric side of a gangster. The first look features Ajith sporting tattoos, oversized sunglasses, and a slicked-back salt-and-pepper hairstyle, along with a flashy costume that signals a quirky gangster vibe.

The film also stars Trisha as the female lead and is slated for release next year. The film promises to be an intriguing, hilarious, and action-packed drama.

In the meantime, Ajith's Vidaamuyarchi is in the post-production. And it is expected to arrive in cinemas later this year.
