Gandhari: Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon join hands for yet another thriller

It’s always said ‘It takes two to tango’! Well, when the two are in the form of fierce duo Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon, the resultant is not just tango, but also superhit in bold letters! After the runaway success and the seamless critical acclaim garnered by the two for the Haseena series (Hasseen Dillruba and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba) the duo of Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon are back with yet another potential blockbuster!

This time round, it’s been titled Gandhari and stars the feisty Taapsee Pannu in the leading role. The OTT major Netflix India took to social media and shared the good news about the launch of ‘Gandhari’. The said post was captioned as, ‘The Hasseen writer-actor duo Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee Pannu return with an action thriller. Gandhari arrives soon, only on Netflix. #GandhariOnNetflix @kanika.d @taapsee @kathhapictures’.

Within minutes of the posting of the thriller titled ‘Gandhari’, the netizens were totally floored. While one wrote, ‘Its so nice to see the two ladies who are meant for delivering hits and superhits coming together to deliver what can be called as the hit of a lifetinme’, another user wrote, ‘This is what I call women power. If the Haseena series was the tip of the iceberg, I am sure that the ‘Gandhari’ will surely set the OTT space on fire’.

Another user wrote, ‘There cannot be any title more apt than ‘Gandhari’ for the series which stars Taapsee Pannu. Anyone going wrong, you know that that person would have surely rubbed Gandhari the wrong way and that person simply HAD it from her. Kanika Nolan Dhillon.. who wrote masterpieces like Haseen Dilruba, Phir Ayee Haseen Dilruba and Dunky. Even Nolan takes tutions from her. @NetflixIndia kitna goosebumps doge yaar?’!
