It seems that the makers of Adipurush are facing some hard times with each passing day. The lyricist and dialogue writer of the movie Manoj Muntashir’s latest statement in an interview didn't help either. Netizens have been left furious after he claimed that Lord Hanuman was not a God and instead, he was ‘created’ a God due to being a loyal devotee of Lord Ram.
Talking about the same, in an interaction with Aaj Tak, Manoj Muntashir was quoted to reveal, “He doesn't talk like Shri Ram. Lord Hanuman doesn't talk in a philosophical manner. Lord Hanuman is not God but a devotee. We made him God later because his devotion had that power.” Take a look at the video.
No sooner did the video go viral than netizens started pouring down their fury on Manoj Muntashir. Some users even schooled the writer by stating that Lord Hanuman was a devotee of Lord Shiva himself. One of the netizens stated, “Gaali khane kayak hai” while another user added, “gaali nhi jute khane layak h ye nikamma.” A netizen added, “Kaisa bewakoof aadmi h ye.” A user furthermore went on to say, “you are saying anything whatever is your propaganda but it’s really disgusting to listen such statements.” A netizen added, “This guy is gradually sliding into neck-deep excrement. Result of trying to fool the whole world.” A user went on to say, “Manoj Muntashir Shukla is a mental man. He knows nothing about Ramayana. Hanuman is an avatar of Lord Shiva ( Mahadev).” A netizen accused the writer of allegedly defaming Gods. The comment read, “First get some knowledge on puranas and come, @manojmuntashir how sad such people publicly defaming our Gods.”
Reportedly, Mumbai Police has provided security to Manoj Muntashir after he cited that he is receiving death threats amidst the agitation surrounding Adipurush. The authorities have stationed some officials outside his home and office. Talking about the film is based on the Indian epic Ramayan with Prabhas playing the lead role of Lord Ram.
