Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia have been regularly seen together in public. Although the specifics of their initial meeting remain undisclosed, the couple rang in the new year together in London, UK, joined by a selected group of close friends. Furthermore, their chemistry and intimacy in Lust Stories 2 were loved by fans.

While conversing with Tanmay Bhat on Netflix India's YouTube channel, Vijay Varma opened up about Tamannah and said, “Lust Stories was a cupid but it wasn't during the shoot that we started dating. There was discussion of a wrap party happening but it never happened. So, we wanted to have a wrap party and so only four people showed up... That day I feel like I told her that I want to hang out more with you. Then it took me 20-25 days for the first date to happen after that.”

Tamannaah Bhatia also spoke about Vijay Varma and she told Film Companion, that Vijay Varma is a person whom she cares about deeply and added that he is her happy place. Tamannaah also said that Vijay Varma is someone with whom she bonded very organically.
