'Forever our Sita Maa': Not Kriti Sanon but Dipika Chikhlia wins the internet as Sita amidst Adipurush backlash

The backlash against Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is increasing with each passing day. Even though the movie has been blossoming at the box office, the critics and the masses have been left highly unimpressed with the film. Now, the OG Devi Sita aka Dipika Chikhlia shared a video of herself as Sita which has been winning the internet. Netizens have been hailing her as the one true Sita Mata that they knew from their childhood.

Talking about the same, Dipika Chikhlia can be seen sporting the look of her iconic character. Draped in a bright yellow-colored saree, she sports a red Bindi and Sindoor on the forehead. The actress can be seen radiating the same intensity and serenity which she did in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. She used the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ from Adipurush which has been crooned by Sachet Tandon and Parampara.

Dipika Chikhlia captioned the same stating, “This post is on public demand … I am grateful for the love I have always received for the role i played … Me … as Sitaji …could not have asked for more.” No sooner was the video shared than fans started reacting to the same. Take a look at the same.

Lots love respect abhi bhi maa sita ki chavi barkarar rkhne k liye.” Meanwhile, Dipika had taken a sharp dig at Kriti Sanon who portrayed Mata Sita in Adipurush after a video had gone viral of her kissing the director of the movie Om Raut. The veteran actress had said that Kriti treats the character of Sita as just a mere role.
