First look of Vikrant Massey’s Blackout gets dropped
The adage ‘He came, he saw he conquered’ can very aptly sum up the career path of actor Vikrant Massey. After having started off his showbiz journey (in Bollywood) with the Ranveer Singh starrer Lootera, there has been no looking back for this man ever since that time. What followed after that, were films which turned out to be smash hits and eventually, which consolidated his position in Bollywood as a versatile actor! The man has been making news of late and for all the right reasons. His superlative performance in the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film has really got the world revolving around him.
Today, Vikrant Massey took to social media and dropped the first look of his upcoming project ‘Blackout’. The film’s poster looks funny and also intriguing at the same time. After uploading the film’s first look, Vikrant Massey captioned the stating, ‘Iss kahani ke sabhi patra ki life ke lag chuke hai…! No sooner did Vikrant Massey upload the said post, his fans and followers took to the comments section and filled it with compliments galore. While one wrote, ‘Dear Vikrant, I always wanted to tell you this. Socha milkar bataaunga. But, kabhi mauka nahi mila. Initially, when I saw you on TV, I used to think ye bandha kya hi kar lega. But, then, you proved me wrong. Now I think that, sirf ek his bandha kaafi hai. Aur us bandhe ka naam hai Vikrant Maseey.’
Another user wrote, ‘You are like the new age Aamir Khan. Even though you do less films, you do meaningful films. And when these films hit the market, they turn to be bonafide hits and smash hits.’
As for the film Blackout, besides Vikrant Massey, it stars Sunil Grover, Jisshu Sengupta, Mouni Roy, and Chhaya Kadam. The film will also see the debut of the social media sensations Karan Sonawane and Saurabh Ghadge. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Niraj Kothari, the film is being directed by Devang Shashin Bhavsar. The film will be streamed JioCinema from 7 June 2024.
