Fighter enters the Rs 100 crore club, here's how the movie turned out to be a game-changer for Hrithik Roshan
Here is how the success of the ariel actioner Fighter will impact Hrithik Roshan.
Hrithik Roshan in Fighter
The Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter which saw a Republic Day release on January 25, 2024, has finally managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. Though the speed of the film is slow at the box office, it is surely moving towards an upward graph. It will also be interesting to see how the film’s success will affect the superstar.
Talking about the same, according to a news report in Sacnilk, Fighter minted Rs 28.5 crore on Sunday (January 28). The total collection of the movie now stands at Rs 118 crore. However, even though a movie of this caliber is anticipated to earn even more, the ariel actioner's success can still be a game-changer for Hrithik.
His last crime flick Vikram Vedha, which was released in 2022 and also starred Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, had many expectations from fans. It was a remake of the 2017 South film of the same name, a huge blockbuster. Roshan was stepping into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi and was portraying the main antagonist. Right from his first look, the actor garnered a lot of buzz with his menacing looks and fiery performance. However, the movie went on to underperform at the box office. It also received mixed reviews wherein many critics found it not up to the mark as the original South film. After that, all eyes were on Fighter which was touted to be Bollywood’s one-of-a-kind ariel actioner.
Many fans remained skeptical about the performance of the movie at the box office since there were not many promotional activities as compared to the likes of some recent blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, and Animal. However, still Fighter managed to get a decent opening. Due to a positive word of mouth, the collections are expected to increase even more. This surely means good news for Hrithik and all his fans out there. Not only this but now, all eyes are also on War 2 which will have even more expectations banking on it when it comes to the box office.
