Fidaa team back for a new project? Here’s what we know..

Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi's 2017 blockbuster Fidaa is one of the most loved Telugu films of all time. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kammula, it was the maiden collaboration between Varun Tej and Kammula.

According to the latest reports, the director-actor duo is set to collaborate on another project that is yet to be titled. Although an official announcement is awaited, reports suggest that the two are working on another intriguing project, with discussions currently underway. Sources reveal that Shekhar Kammula has already narrated the script to Varun Tej, and the project is in the discussion stage. More details about the film are expected soon.

Can Shekhar Kammula help Varun Tej revive his career?

Following the failure of his latest film, Operation Valentine, Varun Tej is going through a rough phase. His hopes are pinned on his upcoming project, Matka, which is directed by Karun Kumar. However, amid the speculations about a potential new collaboration with Shekhar Kammula, fans believe that only the Fidaa director can rescue Varun Tej's sinking career. Some believe that Kammula, who wrote a memorable character for Varun in Fidaa, could once again create a film that captivates audiences.

While it remains uncertain if the new film will take off soon, Varun Tej is currently focusing on making a comeback with the pan-Indian film Matka, which is still under production.
