It was in August 2021 that Farhan announced the film, i.e on the 20th anniversary of his iconic Dil Chahta Hai. Later, the film was reportedly shelved since Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt couldn’t give dates due to their motherhood journey in 2022. Now, finally, the movie has gone on the floors, and interestingly, it also marks Priyanka’s return to Bollywood after the 2019 Sky Is Pink. Backed by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, the film is said to be about female friendships. Written by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan, and Reema Kagti, the film also has Ishaan Khatter as per reports. So far, the makers have not announced the release date but it is expected to hit theatres in late 2023 or early 2024.
