Exclusive- Sharvari reacts to being called ‘Katrina’s devrani’; opens up on link up rumors with Sunny Kaushal

The gorgeous Sharvari Wagh has had quite a fruitful year. After making her acting debut with web series The Forgotten Army in 2020, she finally got her dream Bollywood debut this year with Yash Raj Films 's Bunty Aur Babli 2. The multi-starrer comedy featured her as the new age Babli. On the personal front, Sharvari was one of the only celebrities who were invited to attend one of the biggest star weddings of the year-- Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal ’s royal wedding in Rajasthan. In an exclusive chat with Desimartini, Sharvari revealed that the #ViKat ceremony was close-knit, beautiful and pure, just like the pictures shared by the newlyweds.

Sharvari is rumored to be dating Sunny Kaushal, Vicky’s younger brother and her The Forgotten Army co-star, which is why her presence was not a surprise for fans. Well, soon after Katrina and Vicky’s wedding, many netizens began to refer to Sharvari as ‘Katrina’s devrani’. Reacting to the same in the interview with us, the actress shared, “Firstly toh it’s such a rumored thing that they are pairing me with Sunny. And then now I have become ‘devrani’ which is just hilarious! In fact my mom shared it to me and on our family group it’s a big joke, you know, like we constantly keep laughing at this whole thing.”

Sharvari went on to add, “But no yaar, these are all rumors. I mean ‘devrani’ is so much! I’m such a young girl, what are people calling me ‘devrani’ for (laughs)? No but I mean all of these, all of these in itself are rumors. But it’s okay, people are having fun. And it’s cool, I’m having fun on my family group so its fine.”

Well, there you have it! Maybe Sunny and Sharvari are just good friends.
