Exclusive: Nawazuddin Siddiqui on working with Tiger Shroff the second time in Heropanti 2, recalls happy memories from set

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has collaborated with Tiger Shroff for the second time in Heropanti 2 after the 2017 film Munna Michael . The actor plays the main antagonist in Heropanti 2 named Laila who is a ruthless cybercrime mastermind. In an exclusive interview with Desimartini, the actor spoke about the bond he shares with Tiger and recalled some fond BTS memories from the set.

Talking about working with Tiger Shroff for the second time, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “It’s always fun to work with Tiger (Shroff). This is our second film together so we have very good bonding. So, it’s always great to work with him.”

Apart from that, Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed how he used to have a lot of fun with the cast and crew of Heropanti 2 while they were shooting amidst the lockdown. The Sacred Games actor said, “When we were shooting in London for the film, we had a 6-day quarantine, and our hotel where we were put up, it was beautiful and located in the countryside. So, we used to have a lot of fun in the evenings since we didn't have any work. We used to play badminton and volleyball there. On one side there was Tiger's team and on another side, there was Sajid (Nadiadwala)'s team. So, I used to come to play in between from either side of the team. That particular time was beautiful and I still remember it fondly.”

He also spoke about the challenges that he faced while essaying the character of Laila in Heropanti 2. The Manto actor said, “There were many challenges. Like you're saying that the character is very different so to essay that, there were many challenges. I had to learn magic for this role since I'm playing a magician. My walking and talking style also had to be different for the part. So these were the challenges but with the help of our director (Ahmed Khan), these things could be easier.” Heropanti 2 also stars Tara Sutaria in the lead role and will release on April 29.
