Exclusive: Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut film details out, actor Athar Siddiqui reveals project to also star Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran
Here are some exclusive details on Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan's much-awaited Bollywood debut.
After Sara Ali Khan, her younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan is also set to make a stellar entry in Bollywood. After assisting Karan Johar in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ibrahim has also begun shooting for his first film as an actor. The movie is titled Sarzameen and revolves around the tensions in the Kashmir valley between the Indian army and the militants.
Talking about the same, 70% of the movie is being shot in Himachal Pradesh’s Manali, and Ibrahim Ali Khan is expected to wrap up the last leg of the shooting by the end of this year. Actor Athar Siddiqui who essays the role of an army officer Ashok Dembla in the film exclusively spoke to Desimartini about the project. He said, “The film centers on Kashmir and the militants who were inhabiting the valley and the soldiers fighting them. The film also has Kajol and Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Ibrahim Ali Khan does not have a leading lady opposite him but this project will definitely prove a milestone for him.”
The plot of Sarzameen heavily focuses on the conflicts between the army officials and the militants residing in Kashmir. The movie has been directed by veteran actor Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani and is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It is expected to be released into the theatres in the year 2024. Well, after Sara Ali Khan, it will be a treat to watch Ibrahim Ali Khan also mark his way into the big screen.
In an earlier interview with a publication, Sara Ali Khan had also spoken about her brother’s Bollywood debut. Ibrahim Ali Khan already enjoys an enviable fan following due to his charming looks resembling his dad Saif Ali Khan from the latter’s teenage years. Ibrahim was earlier rumored to be dating Shweta Tiwari’s daughter and actress Palak Tiwari but the latter rubbished the speculations.
