Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra's premises
In a recent development, the officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have now raided Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra's premises
It seems that the problems of the well-known businessman Raj Kundra, the husband of actor Shilpa Shetty, is far from over. The Enforcement Directorate (ED), today (Friday, 29 November), had raided his premises. This was in addition to also a few others who too were being raided, as a part of a money laundering case that was linked to the alleged distribution of pornographic content.
The aforementioned statement was stated as per a source in the Economic Times. The same report added that as many as 15 locations in the areas of Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh were also a part of the search operations, as per a source-based news report in PTI.
The said report mentioned that the aforementioned probe was in connection with the role of the suspects in the alleged distribution of pornographic content through mobile applications and other modes. The same report also mentioned that the concerned officials had mentioned that the locations of the search operations included the residence of Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband Raj Kundra.
Besides searching the residence of Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband Raj Kundra, there were searches which were conducted at the various properties of other individuals who were implicated in the case.
Looking back, readers may recall that Raj Kundra had been arrested by the Mumbai Police officials in the year 2021. After the arrest, Raj Kundra was out of the jail after he obtained a bail. Even though he was out of jail, he has been under scrutiny in a separate case of money laundering investigation. This was in relation to a Bitcoin fraud, which involved Ajay Bhardwaj.
