Emergency: Kangana Ranaut confirms getting certificate for her film; here’s when she’ll announce the release date

The day for which Bollywood actress cum politician Kangana Ranaut and many of her fans and followers were waiting for, is finally here! We are indeed talking about the much eagerly awaited update about her film Emergency.

Today (October 17), the versatile actress cum director of Emergency Kangana Ranaut took to social media and posted, ‘We have received the certificate for our movie emergency. We will be announcing the release date soon, thank you for your patience and support. @manikarnikafilms @zeestudiosofficial @nishantpitti’.

Just a couple of days ago, there was a source-based news in India Today, which stated that the Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency, in all possibilities, is likely to release after Punjab elections. The article quoted a source saying that

The source close to the production said that, after agreeing to all the terms by CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), it appeared that the team will be bringing out the film after Punjab elections. It added that the film Emergency was very close to all and that the audience must be given a chance to see the film.

The same article added that, ‘after a lot of thought and without hurting anyone's sentiments, the entire team had reportedly decided that they would decide on a suitable day once the elections are over to release the film. Releasing the film during a calmer time seems like the best decision at present’.

As for the film Emergency, the film stars Kangana Ranaut in the leading role. Besides her, the much talked about film also will see the presence of the veteran actor Anupam Kher, Vishak Nair, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and, above all, there will also be the late Satish Kaushik playing an all-important role.

While the film Emergency has been directed by Kangana Ranaut, it has been produced by Zee Studios, Kangana Ranaut and Renu Pitti. The film’s trailer is a giveaway of the stunning cinematography. For the unversed, let us tell you that the film’s cinematography has been done by the well-known cinematographer Tetsuo Nagata.
