    Ever since the time the Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency had been announced, the film had been making news for many reasons. Most importantly, the film has been in the news because of the multiple delays in the release date.

    The latest update about the film is that, actress Kangana Ranaut and the makers have now agreed to cuts suggested by Censor Board, as per a report in NDTV. The said report stated that the actress cum politician Kangana Ranaut has now abided by the requests which had been made by the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) with respect to the cuts in her directorial Emergency’.

    The report stated that, the CBFC had informed the court that Kangana Ranaut had an interaction with them and post that, she has agreed with the cuts as suggested by the Revising Committee of the Censor Board. The aforesaid was told during the hearing on a petition which was filed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises, who happen to be the movie's co-producers.

    The reports had stated that the CBPC had asked for as many as 13 cuts in the film. The latest update in the same is that further hearing of the said matter will be done on Thursday, wherein a division bench of Justices BP Colabawalla and Firdosh Pooniwalla had posted the matter.

    As for the film, besides Kangana Ranaut, it also stars the veteran actor Anupam Kher, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade and also the late Satish Kaushik in all important roles. While the film has been directed by Kangana Ranaut, it has been produced by Zee Studios, Kangana Ranaut and Renu Pitti. Those who have seen the film’s trailer just cannot stop raving about its cinematography, which has been done by the well-known cinematographer Tetsuo Nagata.
