Ed Sheeran returns 'favour to his brother' Diljit Dosanjh during his concert in Birmingham; their Naina x Shape of You mashup is UNMISSABLE

Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has been on a hearts-winning spree! He is busy entertaining his fans in the UK with his ongoing tour. On September 23, Diljit took to social media and shared heartwarming videos from his Birmingham concert. Interestingly, he was joined by the Shape of You singer Ed Sheeran. The duo had already won hearts during Ed's Mumbai show and now again, they surprised their fans with their reunion in the UK. Diljit and Ed mashed up their songs Naina and Shape of You, and left the audience mighty impressed!

The video begins with Diljit saying “Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye (Ed Sheeran has come).” The singer is seen dressed in an all-white outfit. The audience is seen cheering and hooting after Diljit made the announcement. Later, Ed appears on stage wearing a black ensemble holding his guitar, and sings his popular song Shape of You. Diljit joins Ed and sings his song Naina from Crew on stage. The singers share a warm hug at the end of the video. Ed captioned the post, “Returning the favour to my brother @diljitdosanjh tonight in Birmingham, what an amazing atmosphere, thanks for having me!”

Diljit also shared a video from the concert and captioned it, “@teddysphotos My BROTHER Shut Down BIRMINGHAM, What A Night. LOVE & RESPECT. Thank You, Birmingham Waleya BAUT Pyar.”

Fans are elated to watch this reunion and expressed their excitement in the comments section. One user wrote, “Hahahhaha ed shareen nu poora punjabi bana dena,” while another wrote, “You killed it Ed. Couldn’t ask for a better special guest!” Another user asked for a song featuring a collaboration of the two singers and wrote, “I love this Collab we need a song now.”

For those unaware, Ed hosted a concert in Mumbai in March 2024. Diljit collaborated with the international singer back then by performing on stage and Ed returned the favour by performing at Diljit’s recent concert in Birmingham.

Diljit recently unveiled his latest song Chal Kudiye with Alia Bhatt for her upcoming film Jigra. The two earlier collaborated on the song Ikk Kudi for the film Udta Punjab. Jigra also features Vedang Raina and it is slated to release on October 11, 2024.
