Call off the bets, Fast and Furious fans! Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has announced a blockbuster return to the adrenaline-fueled franchise. According to a tweet from Johnson himself, he's back on board after mending fences with co-star Vin Diesel.

Hobbs Returns to the Fast Lane

Johnson, a powerhouse in the franchise who brought to life the character of Luke Hobbs in five Fast and Furious films, has been on a break from the action-drama series. The hiatus followed a public feud with lead actor, Vin Diesel. His presence was notably missing in 'F9' and 'Fast X,' although he did make a surprise cameo in the post-credits scene of the latter.

On Twitter, Johnson declared, "Hope you’ve got your funderwear on… HOBBS IS BACK." The actor dropped a teasing hint of a new Hobbs movie currently in the works, and the message was loud and clear: he and Diesel have decided to put past grudges aside.

    Brotherhood Wins over Rivalry

Revealing more about the truce, Johnson tweeted, "Last summer Vin and I put all the past behind us. We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve – and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love."

The feud that began in 2016, when Johnson made some pointed remarks on Instagram aimed at Diesel, made headlines. However, Johnson added that after a meeting of "clarity," they decided to leave their differences aside.

    Fast X Marks the Spot

The Fast and Furious franchise, which kick-started in 2001, has seen phenomenal success worldwide. The recent release, Fast X, continues the legacy and will be followed by another entry. Johnson's re-entry in the franchise indicates his commitment to his "Audience First" approach, a mantra he honed during his WWE wrestling days as "The Rock".

With Johnson's return, fans are buckled up for a thrilling ride. As Johnson concludes, "'Daddy’s gotta go to work' ~ HOBBS #HobbsIsBack #FastAndFurious #PutYourFunderwearOn."
