Television actress Drashti Dhami welcomed her little princess in October this year. After giving a glimpse of her daughter to her fans this Diwali, Drashti has now revealed that she named her daughter Leela. The actress shared a heartwarming picture on social media while revealing her name.

Taking to Instagram, Drashti shared a picture of her munchkin's feet and announced her name on social media. In the caption, the new mommy revealed that she has named her daughter Leela which means playful in Sanskrit. She captioned the post, “Say hello to Leela.”
Drashti’s fans and followers reacted to the post by congratulating the couple. Her friend Sanaya Irani wrote, “Hello googy,” while Kunal Jai Singh commented with multiple red heart emojis. Mahhi Vij wrote, “Beautiful name,” while Mouni Roy commented, “Beautiful.”
Earlier, the television actress had shared the first glimpse of her daughter while wishing her followers a happy Diwali. Sharing a picture of Leela, along with herself and husband Niraj Khemka, she wrote, “Gonna be a little late for a while to all the parties! Nevertheless. Happy Diwali from me and mine and MINE. To you and your.”

Drashti welcomed her first child on October 22, 2024. The couple announced their daughter's arrival through a social media post and captioned it, “SHE IS HERE 22.10.2024.” The poster read, “Straight from heaven, into our hearts. A whole new life, a whole new start. 22.10.24. She’s here! Elated parents Drashti & Neeraj.”
Meanwhile, the actress tied the knot with businessman Niraj Khemka in a traditional Hindu ceremony in 2015.
