Does Malaika Arora plan on making a comeback to acting? Here's what the actress has to say

The name of Bollywood diva Malaika Arora has often been synonymous with hit dance numbers more than her acting appearance in movies. She has so far done a cameo in Kaante (2002), EMI(2008), and Housefull 2 (2012(, but never appeared in lead roles. The actress has recently expressed her interest in making comeback with a full-fledged acting role in Bollywood.

In a recent interview, Malaika revealed why she hasn’t played any main roles in movies over the years. The actress said that she has intentionally avoided it despite being offered roles.“I think I have always shied away from it. I always believe in, never say never. By the grace of God, there has always been a lot of interest and loads of offers. I feel, if there’s a role that truly excites me when I hear it, then I would definitely take it up,” she told Etimes.

Well, she maintained that she would like to take up acting soon if anything exciting comes her way. When asked if she would like to be part of a dance film, she replied, “I don’t know! It could be anything, maybe something that’s completely different from the person that I am. I think that’s what would excite me the most,” To note, Malaika has sizzled the big screen with her impeccable dance moves in songs like Chaiya Chaiya from Dil Se, Munni Badnam from Dabangg, and Anarkali Disco Chali( Housefull 2) among others.

Apart from acting and dancing, Malaika has also earned recognition in space of fashion and fitness. She also became a household name after she appeared as a judge in several television shows like Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, India’s Got Talent, India’s Best Dancer, and many more. She also remains in news for her personal life as she is dating Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor.
