What happens when two powerhouses of talents come together under one roof! The result is absolutely magical. And this ‘magical resultant’ can also be called ‘Do Patti’! For the unversed, Do Patti happens to be the latest from the house of the OTT major Netflix. This film stars two powerhouses of talents in the form of the firebrand actress Kajol and the extremely talented Kriti Sanon. For all those who had been waiting with bated breath to see these two ladies in action, well... the good news is that the makers have now dropped the gripping trailer.
A super excited Kriti Sanon took to social media and shared the gripping trailer of the film. The trailer of Do Patti starts off with a north Indian accented Kajol asking Shaheer Sheikh’s character to recall what exactly had happened on the day of the accident. She introduces herself as someone who gets stuck and getting stuck is her speciality. Be it in understanding the Indian Penal code or during patrolling. She then tells that, whilst following the rule book, she landed herself in getting stuck!
This then follows the life of Saumya (played by Kriti Sanon), who had experienced love for the first time in her life. The love of her life happens to be the character played by Shaheer Sheikh, who holds her hand and takes her on a paragliding ride! Just as when things were looking smooth, there appears a twin of Saumya (Kriti Sanon in a double role!), who is seemingly all set to destroy all the good things.
After things started going out of hand, Shaheer Sheikh tells his girlfriend Saumya that her twin is mentally unstable. At which, Saumya tells him, ‘Drama karti hai woh! The mentally haunting trailer ends with Saumya’s character saying ‘Sab meri galti hai’.
In no time, the netizens took to the comments section and poured in with their messages. One user posted, Shaheer Sheikh in on roll.. Man is such a mindblowing actor.. Such a versatile actor he is.. As for the film, it has been directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and produced by Kanika Dhillon and Kriti Sanon. Besides Kriti Sanon, Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh, the film also stars Tanvi Azmi, Brijendra Kala, Vivek Mushran, Prachee Shah Paandya and others.
The film is all set to be streamed on Netflix from 25 October 2024.
