Do Patti Trailer Launch: Kajol opens up on making debut as a police officer; excites crowd as she mentions Ajay Devgn's name

Kriti Sanon, Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh starrer Do Patti is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The makers of the film dropped the trailer on October 14 at an event in Mumbai. It showcases the events leading up to a crime mystery. The trailer launch event was attended by the entire team. While speaking to the media, Kajol spoke about playing the role of a cop for the first time and wearing the uniform in the film. She added that wearing the police officer’s uniform gives one a "sense of authority and respect".

During the trailer launch event of Kajol’s upcoming film Do Patti, the actress spoke about wearing the police officer’s uniform for the first time. The actor began speaking by saying that whenever she goes on a set and wears the outfits of her characters, it always feels like a uniform, be it a saree, a salwar-kameez, a pantsuit, or anything else.

Speaking further, Kajol said that when you wear an actual uniform and go on set, one feels a sense of authority and respect. She added that it’s a completely different way of looking at it. In the conversation, Kajol jokingly said that she hadn't asked her actor husband Ajay Devgn how he felt while wearing a police officer’s uniform, which made the audience cheer for her.

Written and co-produced by Kanika Dhillon, Do Patti is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi. The film stars Kriti Sanon, Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh. Besides playing a double role in the film, Kriti has also co-produced the film.

Do Patti is set in the fictional hill town of Devipur in Uttarakhand and also stars Tanvi Azmi and Brijendra Kala while marking the film debut of television actor Shaheer Sheikh. Do Patti will make its world premiere on October 25 on Netflix.
