Diwali 2024: Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 set to clash this year

The makers of Ajay Devgn's Singham Again have just announced the new release date for the film. It will release on Diwali, clashing with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

The makers of Singham Again took to Instagram to reveal that the film will be released during Diwali. The star cast of Singham Again includes Ajay Devgn, Karena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.

Singham Again was earlier scheduled to be released in theatres on August 15. Although Ajay Devgn has said that the released has been pushed as some scenes need to be shot, it is assumed that it was postponed to avoid a box office clash with other biggies. Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, John Abraham Vedaa and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein are all slated to be released on Independence Day.

Speaking about the new release date, Ajay Devgn said in a press conference, “Jo kaam chal raha tha film mein, woh abhi tak poora khatam nahi hua hai. Thodi bahut shooting bhi baaki hai. Toh hum koi jaldi mein nahi hai, kyunki jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai. Toh jasie hum tayyar ho jayenge, hum tab decide karenge (The work on the film has not been completed. A few parts of the film are yet to be shot. We are not in a hurry because that can spoil things. We will decide when we feel ready).”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to release on Diwali

Helmed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. It is now all set to clash at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again during Diwali 2024.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third installment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. The first film starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan ans was released in 2007, while the second film starred Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani and was released in 2022.

It looks like Kartik is reprising his role of Rooh Baba in the third installment of the film. The buzz for the film has been increasing ever since Vidya Balan revealed her association with it, leaving fans wondering if Monjolika will be back in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
