    Popular Punjabi-Canadian singer AP Dhillon sparked a new controversy after he was seen sporting shoes which resembled the tricolour of our national flag. The entire controversy took shape after Dhillion himself took to Instagram to promote his new song ‘With You’ which will soon stream on Amazon Prime. The Canadian singer enjoys a big fan following globally with some biggest chartbusters in his name.

    While the singer later deleted the post, the damage had been done by then. The netizens were furious with the rapper and shared all sorts of angry reactions on social media. A netizen wrote: This is absolutely disgusting, disgraceful and disrespectful. Another said: “Disrespectful act. Shame on him.” A social media user commented: “Tiranga pairo me, such a shame.” A person also said: “Shame… Brown munde.”

    Dhillon is in India currently for his upcoming docuseries titled ‘AP Dhillon: First Of A Kind’. He had earlier said in a statement on his upcoming series: “When I began my journey from Gurdaspur to Canada, I never thought that one day I would be telling my story in such a manner. I am truly humbled and thrilled to have received so much love and recognition for the kind of music we are creating.”

    Meanwhile, Dhillon is believed to be dating actress Banita Sandhu, a British actress who made her Bollywood debut with Shoojit Sircar’s October in the year 2018.
