'Dilli ke Aata biscuits today': Kriti Sanon joins The Crew co-stars Kareena and Tabu's 'Chai pe charcha' banter

Actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon are currently busy shooting for their upcoming women-oriented film, The Crew. Backed by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, the film is being helmed by Rajesh Krishnan. On Friday, the three actresses had an interesting Instagram exchange which served major friendship goals. It so happened that Tabu recently dropped a stunning picture of herself holding a beverage mug in her hand. This caught the attention of Kareena and she left a comment on her post that read, “Mere bina chai pe charcha ho rahi hai (chat over tea without me) ...where are the biscuits?" And quickly after Tabu replied, “Waiting to come to set and take from you." That’s not all! Kriti joined in the banter and replied, “Getting you guys Dilli ke Aata biscuits today! To survive the night shoot!” and added laughing emoticons. Take a look:

The upcoming film, The Crew will revolve around three women whose destinies lead them to some unexpected and unwarranted situations. Rhea made the announcement of the film in November via Instagram post. Sharing a video of the trio posing for magazine cover, she wrote “After three years of dreaming, writing, planning I present to you with @ektarkapoor on the November Cover of @vogueindia our ‘dream cast’ which is now a reality. ‘The Crew’ starring @tabutiful @kareenakapoorkhan and @kritisanon starts shoot February 2023. Directed by @rajoosworld and written by @nidsmehra and Mehul Suri.” The film bankrolled by Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and Anil Kapoor Productions, had gone on floors by the end of March 2023.

Meanwhile, Tabu was last seen in Bholaa alongside Ajay Devgn. She recently wrapped the shoot of her upcoming film, Auro Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Kareena last featured in Laal Singh Chaddha co-starring Aamir Khan. She will next feature in Sujoy Ghosh's Devotion of Suspect X with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Kriti, on the other hand, also has Ganapath and Adipurush beside The Crew in her kitty.
