The multi-talented Diljit Dosanjh needs no introduction. Be it his singing or acting, this man has always aced it all and how! The fan following and the craze for this man is simply increasing with every passing minute. Till now, mostly all the shows where he has performed have always been full. The craze for his performances is not just restricted to India, but also abroad as well.
Testimony to the same can be gauged from the fact that, right from the very minute the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour had been announced, the ticket sales simply touched the roof. Well… not just the ticket sales, but even the ticket prices! For the unversed, the range of his tickets for the aforementioned Dil-Luminati Tour (India leg) had been priced ranging from Rs. 1499 and goes on till Rs. 25,000, as per a report in The Free Press Journal. The steep prices of the tickets had even garnered a bit of criticism from social media users as well!
The said news report even stated that, amidst the social media criticism and also the ever-increasing craze for the tickets of Dil-Luminati Tour, Diljit Dosanjh’s manager Sonali Singh, had reportedly disclosed that the singer cum actor had earned nearly Rs. 234 crores for his performances from the US shows.
The said report also stated Cine Connect as the place where Sonali Singh was reported to say that there also were resellers who had sold the concert tickets for as high as Rs 54 lakh and Rs 46 lakh! And the best part was that (as reported), there were many people who were seen buying the tickets at the aforementioned prices as well. One may also note that the aforementioned prices were not the official prices of the concert tickets!
The said report also added that, Sonali Singh said that, there was a trend where people usually buy and then resell it and that they had generated almost around $28 million (which is the Indian equivalent of Rs 234 crore) during his North America Dil-Luminati tour!
