'Dikhava kyu ho raha he lekin': Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha perform Sewa by washing dishes at Golden Temple, netizens react

Actress Parineeti Chopra and her fiance Raghav Chadha recently performed Sewa at the Shri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. The newly engaged couple were seen washing dishes inside the holy place. While Parineeti wore a white kurta and salwar, AAP leader Raghav sported a beige kurta. The pictures and videos of them have been doing rounds on the internet, triggering reactions from netizens.

In the video, Parineeti could also be seen happily cleaning dishes while talking to a woman standing beside her. Sharing the clip, paparazzo Viral Bhayani wrote, “#ParineetiChopra and her fiancé and AAP leader #RaghavChadha seen doing seva performing seva at the Golden Temple.” Reacting to the video, one of the netizens wrote, “Rich people only do seva in front of the camera.” The second user disagreed and said, “They don't do it for camera..Cameras run after them..they don't...ghar se Bahar niklte hi toh ye log inko capture lgte hain..inhone toh nhi kha hoga na camera walo ki hme capture kro..they are so used to camera ki inko ab feel hi nhi hota camera h samne ya nhi. GROW UP PEOPLE. neither their fan nor their haters. Just a neutral pov,(sic).”

Some of the social media users trolled the couple saying that their Sewa is a publicity stunt. “se Seva nahi kehte hai.. publicity stunt - for politician votes kehte hai! Achha mazaak banate hai yeh actors aur politicians religion ke. Shame on them!” stated a user. “While doing seva why you want to publicize it.. with all respects to Sikh community, still smells like a political stunt…” added a user.

Earlier, Parineeti and Raghav shared the same picture from their visit to the Golden Temple on Instagram. "My visit this time was even more special, with him by my side," she wrote. Raghav's caption read, "Amidst sacred hymns and serenity, I closed my eyes, bowed my head, and said a little prayer. With Parineeti Chopra by my side, it was even more special. Blessed to seek blessings at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib ji in Amritsar today."

Meanwhile, Parineeti and Raghav are set to tie the knot at the Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan. According to India Today reports, the couple wants to keep their wedding traditional and intimate. Workwise, Parineeti was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta and Sarika.
