So, at last… Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding finally took place yesterday. Till about yesterday, the entire media and social media were on their toes to lay their hands on even the minutest of information regarding what one term it as the most talked about wedding of the year! Right from the venue to the guest list to the décor (of the wedding party) to the dress worn by the newly married couple, everything about the wedding was definitely talked about.
Speaking about the dress worn by the couple, while Sonakshi left no stone unturned when it came to mesmerising everyone with her wedding dress. For the unversed, the stunning Sonakshi Sinha looked even more stunning in her intricately embroidered ivory saree, which she had complemented it with cream and off-white blouse. And, the icing on the cake was in the form of kundan jewellery which grabbed almost everyone’s attention!
Did you know that, the saree which Sonakshi Sinha had worn actually was that of her mother Poonam Sinha’s! In addition to that, even the matching jewellery was sourced out from her mother's collection, as per a report in India Today.
As for the wedding details, Sonakshi Sinha took to social media and posted the first pics of hers along with that of her husband Zaheer Iqbal. The just married Sonakshi Sinha made no mistake when it came to captioning the said (wedding) post. The Dabangg actress was not just on-point, but also to the point!
Sonakshi Sinha captioned the wedding pics as, ‘On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017), in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today, that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope, and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.’
The wedding was followed by a party, in which many celebs were in attendance. The man in charge of making everyone ‘dance to his tunes’ was DJ Ganesh. It was the romantic dance between Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal which won the heart and the attention of the internet!
As for the celebrities who had attended the wedding party included the legendary actresses including Saira Banu, Rekha, Salman Khan, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Richa Chadha, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Iulia Vantur and others.
