Ever since the time the news about the sudden and untimely death of Malaika Arora’s father Anil Kuldip Mehta became known to all, the media and social media have been buzzing non-stop with many stories. The police personnel, on their part, are investigating all the possible angles which could have been the reason to the death of Anil Kuldip Mehta.
As per a source-based news report in News 18, it stated that, a post-mortem which had been conducted (at around 8 pm yesterday), revealed that, it had been cited that ‘multiple injuries’ has been cited as Mehta’s cause of death. Other details regarding the death are being awaited while the police personnel are conducting a thorough investigation on the same.
For the unversed, Anil Kuldip Mehta, the father of Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora allegedly died by suicide on yesterday morning. In no time, there were many celebs who started pouring in at the Arora residence in Mumbai.
On the other hand, there was also a news report which stated that, in her statement to the police, Malaika’s mother reportedly said that Anil would routinely sit in the balcony and used to read the newspapers every morning. She also (reportedly) told the police that while they had been divorced, they had started living together again since the past few years.
Meanwhile, Malaika Arora took to social media yesterday night and posted an extremely heartfelt note in the loving memory of her (late) father Anil Mehta. She wrote, ‘We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect’.
