Dhanush's packed slate continues, D52 announced

Dawn Pictures has officially announced its debut production, titled D52, starring multifaceted Dhanush. Producer Aakash Baskaran expressed his excitement about the project, stating, "We're thrilled to launch our first prestigious project with D52, starring 'Nadipin Asuran' Dhanush sir. We're committed to producing heartfelt and innovative content that resonates with audiences worldwide."

Dhanush, who continues to be one of the busiest actors in the industry, has lined up a series of high-profile films across multiple languages. He is currently filming the Telugu movie Kubera and will soon reunite with Hindi filmmaker Aanand L Rai for Tere Ishk Mein, a spiritual sequel to their 2013 hit Raanjhanaa.

In addition to acting, Dhanush is also exploring his directorial ambitions. He recently tasted success with Raayan, his 50th film, which he wrote and directed under the Sun Pictures banner. Despite mixed reviews, the film proved to be a box office hit, grossing over Rs 100 crore from theatrical sales.

There are also rumours circulating that Dhanush is preparing another directorial project in which he will not only write and direct but also star. It’s speculated that actor Arun Vijay may play a key role in this upcoming film.

Meanwhile, Dhanush's next release, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, a romantic drama that he has written and directed, is set to hit screens in December this year. The film features a youthful cast and is anticipated to be another success for the multitalented actor.

Additionally, filmmaker Selvaraghavan, Dhanush’s brother, has announced a new collaboration with composer GV Prakash Kumar after a 13-year gap. Speculation is rife that this project could be Aayirathil Oruvan 2, with Dhanush in the lead role, further adding to the actor's impressive list of upcoming films.
