Devara trailer launch: Janhvi Kapoor says she wants to do 'every single movie' with Jr NTR; 'I've become a bigger fan...'

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set to star alongside South superstar Junior NTR in the upcoming film Devara. It will mark Janhvi's Telugu debut. On September 10, during the trailer launch event of Devara, Janhvi shared her experience of working with Jr NTR. She said that she has become a become fan of the actor after working with him.

When the host asked Janhvi’s reaction to people admiring her pairing with Jr NTR, the actress said, "Even I want to do every single movie with Tarak sir only, I had so much fun (laughs). I learned so much and I think everyone knows how big of a fan I am of him, and I think I have become a bigger fan of him after having worked with him."

Speaking about the film, Janhvi called it her ‘ghar wapasi’ as Devara will mark her debut in Telugu films. She also said the film is "very special to her".

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara is one of the highly anticipated films of the year. It will hit the theatres on September 27 and has already earned more than Rs 5 crore in pre-bookings. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh. Devara is based on the horrific Karamchedu incident where several people from the Dalit community were killed.

Janhvi was last seen in a thriller drama film titled Ulajh. Helmed by Sudhanshu Saria, it also starred Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, and Rajendra Gupta among others. It centered around a diplomat named Suhana (played by Janhvi) who finds herself in the middle of a controversy and tries to prove her innocence. The film tanked at the box office. It clashed with Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s romantic drama film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
