Deepika Padukone shares jaw-dropping maternity shoot with Ranveer Singh; Fans call it a tight slap on trolls calling her pregnancy fake

Deepika Padukone is all set to welcome her first child with actor-husband Ranveer Singh. The actress who was last seen in her film Kalki 2898 AD has shared a few pictures from her maternity shoot. The heartwarming pictures also feature Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh. Deepika’s fans took to the comment section of the post and addressed trolls who called her pregnancy fake.

Taking to Instagram, Deepika shared a few pictures of herself, along with Ranveer from her maternity shoot. She captioned the monochrome pictures with an evil eye, a heart and an infinite sign emoji. 

The first picture features Deepika in a knitted cardigan with her baby bump showing. The actress is sharing a sweet moment with her husband Ranveer who looks dapper in a simple tshirt. In another picture, Deepika wearing a black bralette underneath her cardigan and flaunting the cardigan in the air. 

The third picture features Deepika sitting down with Ranveer holding the actress from behind and kissing her on the shoulder, another picture features Deepika standing in the same outfit, exposing her baby bump. The fifth picture showcases the couple laughing in the same sitting position. 

The actress opted for a sleek black blazer and matching pants in the sixth picture. The seventh picture features Deepika in the same attire while another portrait features Deepika in an embroidered black lace dress with her blowing in the air. A still picture features Deepika in the same outfit by giving a left profile to the camera. Another portrait is of Deepika twirling in the same outfit. One of the last few pictures feature Deepika wearing another black lace dress, sitting on the floor with Ranveer sitting behind her.

Deepika’s pictures grabbed the attention of her fans and followers who took to the comment section and expressed their admiration towards the couple. Actress Pragya Jaiswal wrote, “So beautiful,” while another user wrote, “MOTHER MOTHERING.” 

Her fans even addressed the controversy surrounding social media users calling Deepika’s pregnancy fake. One user wrote, “To all the people who said it’s a fake pregnancy, where are you now. So happy for you Dp. Congratulationssss,” while another wrote, “A tight slap on everyone’s face those who were saying her baby bump was fake n she is not pregnant.” 

In February this year, Deepika announced that she is expecting her first child this year. The child is expected to be delivered in September this year. On the work front, the actress played the role of Sumati in Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus film Kalki 2898 AD.
