    Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu lost his life in a car crash on Tuesday, his girlfriend who was in the car with him penned a hreat wrenching note on social media.

    Actor turned activist Deep Sidhu died in a car crash on Tuesday evening. The Punjabi actor was on his way back from Delhi to Punjab with his girlfriend Reena Rai when their car collided with a truck on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in Haryana's Sonipat district.

    Deep who made headlines last year as the main accused in the Red Fort Violence case was out on bail and his last appearance on social media was in a Valentine’s Day post with Reena. While the news of Deep’s sudden demise left the nation in shock, Reena who survived the crash shared heart wrenching note on losing her boyfriend.

    “I’m broken I’m dead inside please come back to your soulmate which you promised me that you won’t leave me in any lifetime I love you my Jaan my soul boy you are my heartbeat. As I was lying in the hospital bed today I heard you come whisper I love my Jaan I know you are forever with me….we were planning our future together and now you are gone. Soulmates don’t leave each other and I’ll see you on the other side Jaan #Truesoulmates,” Reena wrote in an Instagram post where she shared a few clicks with the deceased Punjabi actor.

    According to reports an eyewitness to the accident has claimed that Deep was alive after car crash and Reena also gave him Deep’s brother’s number who he contacted to send for help from Delhi. The accident took place close to 9:30 PM on Tuesday evening shortly after which Deep died on his way to the hospital.

    The eyewitness who claims to have been driving behind Deep’s vehicle stated that the actor’s car was moving at a speed of about 100 km/hour. The actor’s sudden demise has been mourned by celebrities like Ammy Virk , Ameesha Patel and Mika Singh on social media.
