CTRL star Ananya Panday reveals she had leaked her and Suhana Khan’s phone numbers accidentally | Here's what happened

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is busy promoting her latest film CTRL, helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane. The film is a commentary on social media, modern relationships and privacy. While speaking about her own experiences with privacy issues during a recent interview, Ananya revealed that she once leaked her phone number and, in another instance, she leaked BFF and actress Suhana Khan’s mobile number.

During a conversation with Raunaq Rajani, Anirban Dasgupta and Sakshi Shivdasani, the actress was asked if her phone number was on any database and she revealed that she once leaked her own mobile number by mistake. Further speaking about the instance, Ananya stated that she was once in a press conference where a reporter asked for her phone number. Ananya added that after giving her number to the journalist, she realised that the interview had already started, and the reporter had released the video with the number on YouTube and it got leaked.

When Ananya leaked Suhana Khan’s phone number

Speaking more about such instances, Ananya said that she once accidentally leaked Suhana Khan’s phone number. Ananya revealed that she once facetimed Suhana and after she did not pick up the phone, Ananya took a screenshot of the failed call and posted it on Instagram stories with the caption, “Missing Suhana, she’s not picking up,” with her number appearing on the screen.

Ananya added that after this instance, Suhana called her and said that her number got hacked, but Ananya had already deleted the story by then.

Ananya Panday's latest film CTRL is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and also stars actor Vihaan Samat. The film revolves around the lives of social media influencers and the couple Joe and Nella. What happens after Joe cheats on Nella and the internet community becomes a witness to it is the plotline of the film. The film releases on Netflix on October 4.

Ananya was last seen in the web series Call Me Bae, which also starred Vihaan Samat. Apart from the duo, the web series also features Vir Das, Varun Sood, and Niharika Lyra Dutt, among others.
