During a recent media interaction, the director revealed major updates about the film's shooting and addressed ongoing rumors surrounding Rajinikanth’s portions, which fans assumed were left pending due to the actor’s recent health emergency. For context, the Tamil superstar was admitted to the hospital for a non-surgical procedure. He is reported to be in stable condition after being admitted to a private hospital in Chennai.

The director revealed that Rajinikanth had informed the team in advance about the medical procedure, and the filmmaker wrapped up his portions soon afterward. He also mentioned that Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan’s portions were wrapped up today in Vizag, with the team now taking a 10-day break from shooting. He said, “About 40 days ago, Rajini sir had informed us that such a surgery was going to take place. Accordingly, we finished filming his portions that needed to be shot in Visakhapatnam in advance. But outside, people said all kinds of things, like the film would get shelved and all. None of it is true.”
He also requested fans not to spread false information online.
