    Ever since Rohit Shetty announced his next film, Cirkus starring Ranveer Singh in lead, fans are eagerly waiting to watch the film. Recently, the filmmaker said that the upcoming film will spill the same magic as his superhit franchise Golmaal.

    Giving an update on the release of the film, Shetty said that Cirkus is a sweet film that is targeted at the same audience who loved his old projects like All The Project and Golmaal. Moreover, he is confident that people will watch this hilarious film twice or thrice with the entire family.

    “We are releasing it at Christmas and the team is already working on post productions. We have seen the film, and it looks good. After being in the industry for these many years, you know what you have made. Cirkus is a sweet film, which people will watch twice or thrice to have a good time. It’s a simple but hilarious film for the entire family to watch,” he told Indian Express.

    Apart from Ranveer, Cirkus also features Pooja Hegde , Jacqueline Fernandez, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra among others in prominent roles. The film follows the story of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth, and Ranveer will be essaying the dual role. It is touted to be an adaptation of the classic Shakespearean play, The Comedy of Errors.

    Besides Cirkus, Shetty also has Singham 3 and the web show Indian Police Force in the pipeline. Talking about the third instalment of Ajay Devgn starrer Singham, he said that he will be starting the film in April next year, after Cirkus releases. He also said that the upcoming film has a bigger canvas and it is going to be a massive one with Ajay this time.

    About Siddharth Malhotra-fronted show, Indian Police Force, Shetty said that the team will soon wrap the film as the last schedule is planned for October -November, and then it will be done. Meanwhile, the filmmaker is currently shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 in Cape Town, South Africa.
