There are some shows on television that no longer remain shows. With the seamless love and affection of the audiences, the shows go onto attain cult status. The much-loved detective show CID was one such example. This show was immensely popular amongst almost everyone, as the show did not have any kind of age barrier.
Just as when many were eagerly waiting to see the show back on the Indian television, the show’s makers seemed to have heard the prayers of the audiences and the resultant was the show’s second season, which has been titled as CID 2. Ever since the time the show’s makers announced the comeback of the show, there has been a visible amount of excitement and also curiosity amongst the audiences.
While there is excitement because of the show’s comeback, on the other hand, there is also curiosity amongst the audiences because, the release date of the show is not yet announced. Sensing that the audiences are super eager to see the show, Dayanand Shetty aka Daya Shetty (who plays the iconic role of Daya in the show), took to social media and gave a clue that is almost a giveaway to the answer about the release date of the show!
On his part, Daya Shetty took to social media and shared a post stating, ‘Aap log baar baar comment karke pooch rahe ho Kab aaye a CID, kab aayega…hum khud pareshaan hai, hum yahaan shoot kar rahe hain. Humein bataya nahi gaya hai kab aa raha hai’. He continued, ‘CID hai naa… C I D …. Coming In December. Wait kariye…. Date bhi pata chal jaayega!”.
On the other hand, the channel took to social media and shared an extremely memorable phot of the show’s creator BP Singh. The said post was captioned as, ‘B.P. Singh, the OG creator of CID, just blessed the Mahurat – shoot’s officially ON!’.
