Chori Chori Chupke Chupke actor Bhairavi Vaidya passes away at 67, daughter Janki Vaidya pens a heartfelt note

    Pratik Gandhi, who shared sceenspace with Bhairavi Vaidya in Gujarati film, Ventilator also mourned the demise of the veteran actor.

    Veteran actor Bhairavi Vaidya, who worked with Salman Khan’s Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, passed away on Octiber 8 at the age of 67. The actor was reportedly battling cancer for the past six months. She was last seen in the TV shw Nima Denzongpa.

    Nima Denzongpa lead star Surabhi Das confirmed the demise of the veteran actor to a news portal. She said, “I am really saddened by the news of her passing away. I shared great times with her on sets,” she told India Today. CINTAA also mourned the Vaidya’s death saying, “CINTAA expresses its condolences on the demise of Bhairavi Vaidya (Member since 2005).”

     Pratik Gandhi, who shared sceenspace with Vaidya in Gujarati film, Ventilator shared, “I got an opportunity to work with her in the film ‘Ventilator”. We had a really good bonding. She was very affectionate.I had seen her perform on stage and on television as a child. And always admired her performance. I can’t forget her smiling face.”

    On the day of her demise, Vaidya’s daughter Janki penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle. A part of her note read, “A lady who raised her Children and made them capable of achieving their Dreams without any fear of thinking "what if??" ...A lady who build her Name in the the industry than let that be Film,TV,Ott on her own Rules without compromising even a bit!!!A lady who smiled,laughed through her family!!!A lady who fought till her last breath...My pranam toyou…”

    “I was blessed to have you as my mother in this life, There's so much to say but I am choking!!!But only one thing would say I know your exit was early ... but I also know you wouldn't want to see urself in that particular situation...Maa Stay at Peace ...I promise I'll be a good child...You Takecare of yourself I'll do the rest,” she added.

    Meanwhile, Vaidya was also part of Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor starrer Taal. In her career spanning more than four decades, she had worked in several Hindi, Gujarati films and TV shows.
