Chiranjeevi donates Rs 1 crore to AP, Telangana flood relief funds; pens an emotional note alerting fans
Following the huge floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana recently, Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi has lent his helping hand to the victims in both the states.

The recent floods that hit Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have caused massive devastation, leading to loss of lives and leaving many communities in desperate need of assistance. Following the natural calamity, many Tollywood stars have come forward to help those affected, and the latest celebrity to join the cause is megastar Chiranjeevi. The Telugu star recently donated Rs 1 crore to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana flood relief funds, contributing Rs 50 lakh to each state.
Addressing the devastating tragedy, the actor took to his social media page to express his grief, stating that the floods have left him ‘heart-wrenching.’ He also lauded both the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments for their efforts in managing the crisis. Lastly, the actor urged fans to stay alert and requested them to avoid leaving home to reduce the risk of contracting viral fevers. “People must remain alert in such situations. As a member of your family, my only request is that no one leaves their home unless necessary. Everyone should also be cautious about the risk of contracting viral fever,” the actor wrote. The Telugu superstar, who has never shied away from helping those in need, along with his son and actor Ram Charan, recently donated a generous Rs 1 crore to the victims of the Kerala landslide tragedy. The actor also expressed his condolences for the lives lost and joined many other celebrities in lending a helping hand to the tragedy victims.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for his highly anticipated fantasy action film, Vishwambhara. Directed by Mallidi Vassishta, the movie is touted to be based on a man’s quest to uncover the mystery behind human existence. Actress Trisha will be playing the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi, while Ashika Ranganath and Mrunal Thakur have also been roped in to play key roles. The makers have confirmed that Vishwambhara will have a grand theatrical release on January 10, 2025, during the Sankranti festival.
