Chandu Champion Day 2 Box Office collections- Kartik Aaryan starrer shows growth, pockets Rs. 6.75 crore

The Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion is picking up slowly, gradually but steadily. Even though the first day collections of the film were decent, the film seemed to slow down. But, as they say, ‘nothing is impossible in the Bollywood box-office… The film did decent business on its second day of release.

As per a report (read ‘early estimates’) by Sacnilk, the Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion went onto pocket a cool and impressive Rs 6.75 crore at the box office on the second day of its release. With the film collecting the said amount, the total collection at the box office for the film stands at Rs 11.50 crore. With the ‘semi-long’ weekend on its way, the film is expected to only make it further big at the box office.Also read:

As we had predicted (read ‘analysed’) earlier, what is really working in the favour of the film is the super strong word of mouth publicity. Considering the subject matter (read ‘plot’) of the film, it gives the audience doses of inspiration… and in the right amount.

And it is this inspirational value/ quotient which is working big-time in the favour of the film. If that wasn’t boost enough, then, the film’s makers seemed to have hit a jackpot through their marketing strategy. And, above all of this, it’s the film’s hero Kartik Aaryan and his mass appeal and his walking that extra mile to ensure the film's success. As a step in that direction, Kartik Aaryan is seen doing everything possible to market the film. Be it public appearances or media interviews or social media promotions or promoting the film on famous shows… Kartik Aaryan is ‘being there, doing that’.

As for the film Chandu Champion (which is biopic that has been based on the illustrious life of a real-life para-athlete Murlikant Petkar), besides Kartik Aaryan, the film stars Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, Shreyas Talpade, Ganesh Yadav, Bhagyashri Borse (special appearance) and Sonali Kulkarni in key roles.

While the film has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, it has been directed by Kabir Khan.
