Chand Mera Dil: Ananya Panday and Lakshay unite for Karan Johar's 'intense and passionate love story' | First look posters OUT

    On November 7, Karan Johar announced a new movie titled Chand Mera Dil starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani.

    Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to bring back the magic of a dramatic love story on the silver screen with his upcoming project, Chand Mera Dil. Not revealing much about the film, the filmmaker shared multiple posters featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani. It has also been revealed that the film will hit the theatres in 2025.

    Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani team up for first time

    Taking to Instagram, Karan Johar shared multiple posters of Chand Mera Dil starring Ananya and Lakshya. The film will be helmed by Vivek Soni. The caption read, "We have two chands ready to bring an intense & passionate love story like no other!!! Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai...Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya. Directed by Vivek Soni. Coming to cinemas in 2025.”

    The first poster features the two covering their faces with a blanket while the text on it says, “Pyaar mein thoda pagal hona hi padta hai.”

    The second poster showcases the two sitting on a bed. While Lakshya is wearing casual attire, Ananya looks breathtaking in a green-colored kutri, paired with a white churidar, oxidized silver bangles, and matching earrings.

    The third poster features them sitting by a lake and holding each other's hands. Chand Mera Dil is Lakshya’s second film and his first collaboration with Ananya.

    Karan Johar teases fans

    On November 6, KJo took to Instagram and teased fans ahead of announcing the new project. He wrote, "Love …. Pyar…. Ishq … Mohabbat…We @dharmamovies have always told love stories with passion and compassion…. We try and tell love stories that deeply resonate with an audience and also entertain them with music that is everlasting …After a while we are back with a love story with a young cast and we are over the “moon”…. Watch this space … we announce our new labour of love at 1.30 pm tomorrow."

    Meanwhile, Ananya was last seen in the romantic comedy web series Call Me Bae, opposite Gurfateh Pirzada and Vihaan Samat, and Vikramaditya Motwane's CTRL. Lakshya, on the other hand, marked his Hindi film debut with Karan Johar's produced action-thriller film Kill, also starring Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala
