Chal Kudiye teaser OUT: Diljit Dosanjh raises curiosity with his magical voice in Alia Bhatt's film; fans say 'Can't wait'

Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The makers of Jigra released the teaser trailer recently and now they have dropped the teaser of the first song Chal Kudiye. The excitement around the song is sky-high because Alia will be reuniting with everyone's favorite, Diljit Dosanjh. The duo has earlier collaborated for Udta Punjab's song Ikk Kudi.

Taking to Instagram, Alia shared the teaser of the first song titled Chal Kudiya featuring herself and Diljit Dosanjh. The teaser begins with Alia walking down a path, wearing a black t-shirt that has the word "ghar" written on the back of it in Devnagari script. Later, Diljit is introduced in the teaser wearing a stunning white ensemble and with Jigra written in the backdrop. Along with the teaser, Alia wrote, "It’s yours soon #ChalKudiye @diljitdosanjh #Jigra in cinemas 11th October." Have a look:

Reacting to the teaser, actress Neha Dhupia wrote, “Beyond! @aliaabhatt @diljitdosanjh." Fans couldn't stop going gaga over their reunion. One of the users expressed excitement for the upcoming song and wrote, “Can't wait for another Kudi. First 'Ikk Kudi' and now 'Chal Kudiye'.” Another user wrote, "This is going to be superhit!" One of the comments also read, "I can clearly see myself obsessing over this song." Others were seen dropping red hearts and fire emojis.

Earlier, Alia had shared a picture of herself sitting with Diljit on a set, making fans anticipate a collaboration. Alia captioned the post, “Chairs say it all. @diljitdosanjh.” While Diljit's chair had a text which read, ‘Sings About Kudi’, Alia's chair stated, "The Said ‘Kudi’.”

Helmed by Vasan Bala, Jigra starring Alia, Vedang Raina, and Manoj Pahwa among others will hit the theatres on October 11. Backed by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt & Somen Mishra under their banners Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions & Eternal Sunshine Productions, Jigra is written by Debashish Irengbam & Vasan Bala.

Meanwhile, Vedang has also sung a remixed version of Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka for the film which was used as background music in the teaser trailer.

Alia was last seen in KJo's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani while Vedang made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
