Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone attends jury dinner; Aishwarya Rai Bachchan jets off to France with Abhishek, Aaradhya

After an 11 hour long flight, Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone arrived in France with a bright smile on her face. According to her mini vlog, the actress debated whether she should eat or sleep before heading to dinner with the other jury members at Cannes Film Festival 2022 . Well, her first look is out and it is the perfect beginning to this festival. She looks glam but not over the top in a sequined dress from Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2021 collection. Deepika looked beautiful as she completed her look with minimal makeup, soft beach waves and brown boots.

The other jury members who joined her included US film director Jeff Nichols, British actress Rebecca Hall, Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux and Italian actress Jasmine Trinca. Meanwhile, Bollywood royalty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was snapped at the airport before she jetted off for the 75th annual film festival. She was accompanied by her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. While Aishwarya opted for an all black outfit and a statement red lip for the flight, Abhishek looked cool in a casual sweatshirt and jeans.

Aaradhya, on the other hand, looked cute in a pink hoodie as she walked by her mother’s side. Well, after being stunned by Deepika’s first look at the festival, we can’t wait to be blown away by Aishwarya and her red carpet avatar. Meanwhile, other celebrities from our county who will be gracing the red carpet this year are Hina Khan , Pooja Hegde , Nayanthara, Aditi Rao Hydari , Helly Shah and Tamannaah Bhatia. Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar was also excited about the festival but will be giving it a miss as he recently contracted coronavirus.
