Ranveer Singh is betting his luck on Rohit Shetty’s directorial comedy drama Cirkus to bail himself out of the trolling and earn back audiences’ faith. The actor will be featuring in a dual role for the first time in the big-ticket entertainer co-starring Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

The actor carved a niche for himself in the film industry with powerful performances in movies like Band Baaja Baraat, Lootera, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: RamLeela, Gunday, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and Gully Boy. Currently, his acting career seems to have hit a rough patch after the actor suffered back-to-back flops with 83 and Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Despite it, the actor is being showered with awards like Etoile d'Or aka Golden Star award at the festival for his "Brilliant career in the film industry’ and it has led Twitterati to ask whether he is really deserving.
Well, Ranveer Singh is betting his luck on Rohit Shetty ’s directorial comedy drama Cirkus to bail himself out of the trolling and earn back audiences’ faith. The actor will be featuring in a dual role for the first time in the big-ticket entertainer co-starring Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Recently, the actor announced the wrap of the film and is all gearing up for massive promotions in the coming days. It is being reported that the film’s trailer will drop in the first week of December, followed by two songs and a final release on December 23. The film marks Ranveer’s second collaboration with the ace filmmaker after Simmba.
It remains to be seen if the year 2022 ends on a satisfactory note for Ranveer since his upcoming film Cirkus is his last release of the year. Next year in April, his much-anticipated Rocky Aur Rani Ki Kahani is scheduled to release. Directed by Karan Johar, the film also has Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in key roles. Earlier in 2021, he also announced the Hindi-language remake of the 2005 Tamil blockbuster Anniyan with director S Shankar. However, it got indefinitely delayed and is slated for 2023 now. Currently, Ranveer is hogging the limelight with his flashy fashion game and social media PDAs with his wife Deepika Padukone.
