There are many reasons for the Ananya Panday starrer Call Me Bae to be qualified as one of the most eagerly awaited series to hit the OTT space. Topping all the reasons is the fact that this happens to be Ananya Panday’s debut on the OTT space. Secondly, the trailer of the show ‘Call Me Bae’ has kind of found its resonation amongst the audiences who always thought that Ananya was all about luxury and richness.

The makers have now dropped the first ever track from the series. Titled ‘Vekh Sohneyaa’, the song is all about capturing the spirit of the series Call Me Bae. The song, even though it’s a teaser, is good enough to give the audiences a look and feel of what the series ‘Call Me Bae’ is all about.

The said track starts off with the stunning Ananya Panday, who is sitting ‘pretty’ in her office. That’s exactly the time when Gurfateh Pirzada, a ‘dream boat’ kind of guy enters her office. And what follows after that are a series of dream interactions between Ananya Panday’s character and that of Gurfateh Pirzada.

As for the said track ‘Vekh Sohneyaa’, it has been composed, penned and performed by the dynamic duo Charan and Bombay the Artist. Besides Ananya Panday, ‘Call Me bae’ also happens to be the OTT debut of the duo of Charan and Bombay the Artist. The said track has been produced by Dishant.

In a media note shared by Ananya Panday regarding the said track, she said that the love and enthusiasm for the trailer had been overwhelming and that she couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to her character Bella and the series. She added that, right from the time she first heard ‘Vekh Sohneyaa,’ it had got her hooked as it had truly captured her heart and has been on repeat in my playlist.

As for Call Me Bae, while the series has been directed by Collin D’Cunha, it has been created by Ishita Moitra, who has also co-written it along with Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair. Besides Ananya Panday, the 8-part series of Call Me Bae also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
