Bobby Deol reacts to predictions of superstardom for his son Aryaman based on his looks: 'Doesn't matter what you look like'

Bobby Deol ’s son Aryaman Deol is a star kid whose good looks have made him famous on social media even before he could make up his mind about following his father’s footsteps into Bollywood. Fresh from the success of Love Hostel , Bobby Deol talked about his son gaining social media attention for his good looks and the possibility of his debut in films in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan.

While the social media followers of Aryaman predict he will be a superstar, Bobby begs to differ. The actor who has seen his fair share of ups and downs in the film industry despite being a star kid said that good looks can’t guarantee success.

Bobby cited his own example and said that before his debut in films ( Barsaat 1995) he was complimented widely for his good looks but said that reality is different.

“When I was going to make my Bollywood debut, people used to say the same things to me, that he is good looking and he will be a superstar. But I know the reality. It doesn't matter what you look like, if viewers want to see you they will. Nobody knows what's gonna happen in the future. Definitely, his good looks are a plus point and I am very proud of it but there is no guarantee about what's gonna happen in this industry,” Bobby said reacting to his son Aryaman being loved for his good looks.

Bobby further emphasized the need for education and said that he wants his sons to have something to fall back on based if a career in films doesn’t pan out.

“I wanted my kids to complete their education first. My son is studying business management. I want him to complete his education and make up his mind so that even if he fails in the film industry, he can do something else. So it is very important for youngsters who can afford to complete their education, before becoming an actor because I am an example, I went through that being a star's son,” the actor said.

Aryaman is all of 20-years-old and for the past few years has been getting a lot of attention on social media on the rare occasions that he’s spotted with his father.
