Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 Grand Premiere: Meet 'Fatman' Ravinder, the first contestant of Vijay Sethupathi-hosted reality show

The long-awaited show has begun! Vijay Sethupathi has officially taken the baton from the previous host, Kamal Haasan, making a grand entry into the eighth season of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil. Introducing the first contestant, Vijay Sethupathi welcomed Ravindar Chandrasekaran, famously known as ‘Fatman’ Ravindar onto the show.

Who is Ravindar Chandrasekaran?

The producer, introduced as an honest and "go-with-the-flow" man, is known for his reviews of previous Bigg Boss seasons, which earned him popularity. However, he has also frequently made headlines for both positive and negative reasons. His involvement in financial controversies, including an arrest for alleged fraud, has kept him in the spotlight. Known for his outspoken personality, his presence in the house could bring the drama and intensity needed to make the show even more explosive.

Interestingly, Ravindar praised debutant host Vijay Sethupathi, calling him the perfect choice for this season, before making his grand entry into the house.

Vijay Sethupathi’s grand entry

The Maharaja star appeared with a new clean-shaven look, looking dapper in a beige suit. Although fans are excited to see the actor take center stage as the host, there is still an odd feeling of not seeing Kamal Haasan make his usual entrance. Nonetheless, the Tamil star made a grand entry to welcome the audience to the new and most-awaited season of the show.

Vijay then took the audience inside the house, introducing its new and interesting décor. Although the show creators have built an exceptional house, Vijay Sethupathi pointed out the wild differences in the new setup, including different bedrooms and restrooms, as well as a peculiar line that divides the house into two halves.
