Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal talks about the downside of fame; says ‘with popularity come trolls’

She participated in Bigg Boss OTT and emerged as the winner, left fans in awe with her versatile performance in Cartel and is now busy winning hearts as the deadly super villain Harleen in Kunal Kemmu starrer Abhay 3 . The actress was also in the news some time back due to her break up with longtime boyfriend Varun Sood . Her journey has seen many ups and downs and along the way, Divya has garnered a huge fan following.
Well, in a recent chat with Mid Day, the beauty got candid about handling popularity at a young age. Divya was quoted saying, “With popularity come trolls. There are a number of negative comments as well. So I stuck my head to, now I have to work on these trolls, reply to them, change my thought process. In my journey I realized, even the positive comments can change you as a celebrity and make you the worst person.”
Divya explained, “There are people who love me and write a thousand good things about me and it looks all nice but is that playing a mental game in my head? Am I changing as a person? Am I being arrogant? So you don’t know from which channel you might get affected.” Well, as they say, popularity comes with a price. In the case of celebrities, the downside is dealing with trolls and hate on social media.
